Despite relatively positive results in recent weeks, especially in the absence of Anthony Davis, they are still far from the mark. Confirmed candidates for the title, the Lakers remain for the time being out of the Top 10 of the Western Conference (17-21). Four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins is expected to workout for the Los Angeles Lakers sometime next week, sources tell Bleacher Report. The official date is yet to be determined, the sources add.
Cousins trains six times a week in Las Vegas. Free agent, the pivot hopes to impress a Lakers franchise in the middle of an evaluation period. From January 5, teams can now offer players 10-day contracts.
Looking for a contract since the end of his adventure at the Nuggets, Cousins would certainly not be against a freelance, however short, at Purple & Gold. He also has the advantage of having already frequented the facilities of the franchise, he who had unfortunately spent a white season following his signing on the spot, in 2019. He therefore hopes to meet better fortune there in the days to come. !
