40/40 free throws against OKC

January 11, 2023

Butler, from the line, closes with a crazy 23-23

Many NBA regular season games played during the night. The victory, in the sprint, of Miami against OKC (112-111 in the final) will remain in history. The Heat hit 40 free throws on as many shots, setting a new NBA record (breaking the previous record set by Utah which, in 1982, had achieved an excellent 39/39). Incredible Butler who closes with 23/23 (his is the winning free throw).

In the other games, Golden State finds Curry (24 points) but loses to Phoenix (125-113). Nice success by Orlando against Portland (109-106) with 19 points by the Italian-American Banchero. Philadelphia easily gets rid of Detroit (147-116) while Utah wins with Cleveland (116-114, zero points from Fontecchio in 5′ of the game). Dallas falls, beaten by the LA Clippers (113-101, 43 points by Doncic). Finally, Toronto beats Charlotte 132-120.
