1. FC Cologne
On February 13, 1. FC Köln celebrates its 75th birthday. The day before, at the Bundesliga home game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, February 12, 5.30 p.m., the Cologne team will wear a special jersey. The FC announced on Friday.
The white anniversary jersey and the black goalkeeper jersey are intended to commemorate the jerseys during the first FC era from the founding day on February 13, 1948. The founding date is embroidered on the outside of the lace-up collar, five different logos from different FC epochs and the legendary quote from the first FC president and football visionary Franz Kremer are printed on the inside: “Tradition only makes sense if the will is available for greater deeds.”
The FC field players will wear the white top in combination with red trousers and red and white striped socks. The goalkeeper outfit will be completely black with jersey, shorts and socks.
