This Saturday, two planes full of Argentine fans were still landing at the Doha international airport, almost all of them still without a ticket in their possession.

The Lusail stadium will host nearly 90,000 spectators in the World Cup final, and almost half of them will be Argentines. The Albiceleste will have majority support in the stands, as has been the case throughout the tournament, and that many of their fans present in Doha have not been able to get a ticket. This Saturday two planes full of South American fans were still landing at the international airport in the capital of the Emirate, almost all of them still without a ticket in their possession.

FIFA released one last package for sale on Friday with about 10,000 seats, mostly coming from returns from fans of other teams. Fans who wanted to get one had to access the official point of sale on the FIFA website and hope for luck. Ticket prices for the final range from 194 euros for category 4, reserved only for Qatari residents, to 1,511 euros for category 1. In between, you could also get tickets for 569 and 939 euros. With the official route ruled out, the only resource for the thousands of Argentines who dream of accessing Lusail is resale, where it was impossible to find tickets for less than 4,000 euros.

FIFA has asked allotted fans to occupy their seats at least one hour before kick-off for the World Cup closing ceremony. It will refer, through music and poetry, to the way in which the world has come together during the 29 days of the tournament. The musical performances will be given by Davido and Aisha, Ozuna and Gims, Nora Fatehi, Balqees, Rahma Riad and Manal, who will sing the official World Cup songs live.
