The Bull team 8 team from Boisseron multisports took part on Sunday 4 December, for the sixth time, in the ultimate disc tournament organized at Crès by the local Clapas disc club. This event, the profits of which were donated to the benefit of the Telethon, brought together eight teams from the region, including those from Rodez, Pézenas and one from the Toulouse region. They were divided into two pools of four.
By ending the group stage with two great victories and a defeat, the Boisseronnais players finished in second position. This is a result they had never obtained in previous years. Unfortunately, for the last classification match, the team lost 12 points to 7 against the Clapas disc team and therefore finished at the foot of the podium with a very encouraging fourth place for the future.
This friendly tournament, always eagerly awaited by the Bull team 8 team, allowed players to compete against experienced teams used to competing at high levels during regional championships.
It should be noted that, for this sporting but also charitable event, many formations have integrated children and young teenagers into their workforce, most of whom already have a very good culture of play. team members were satisfied with the progress made and this new experience will help them grow and assert themselves more in this unique, fun, physical and very technical collective discipline.
