The young promises of Ibizan badminton added three new medals this weekend to a spectacular list of winners in the Spanish Under-13 Championship played in Torres de Cotillas, Murcia. The Ibizan badminton base won a double in the women’s category plus a bronze that increases the spoils of the lower categories in the state championships held throughout the last weeks of this brilliant 2022. María García hung the gold medal a year after losing the final against her sister, and she won the double in her second participation in the state championship in this category together with her partner Inés Poncela in the women’s doubles. Oliver Palberg also shone with his own light after hanging the bronze medal with his partner Miguel Montaner in the men’s doubles.
