TOKYO GRAND SLAM: THE RESULTS |  French Judo Federation

ON DECEMBER 3 AND 4, OUR FRENCH PLAY THE GRAND SLAM IN TOKYO (JAPAN). FIND ALL THE RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION.

JOUR 1 :

Alpha Djalo (-81kg): Bronze medalist

Qualified for the quarter-finals having eliminated Pawel Drzymal (POL) in the 2nd round and Lorenzo Parodi (ITA) in the 3rd round, Alpha Djalo (-81kg) lost his quarter-final against Kenya Kohara (JPN). He then won his repechage against Lee Joonhwan (KOR) before winning the bronze medal against the Japanese Takeshi Sasaki.

Faïza Mokdar (-57kg) : 2ème tour

After beating the Polish Arleta Podolak, our French lost in the 2nd round against the world number 13, Mimi Huh (KOR).

Nicolas Chilard (-81kg): 7th place

Nicolas Chilard (-81kg) finished in 7th place in this Grand Slam after his defeat in the repechage against the Canadian François Gauthier Drapeau.

Loris Tassier (-90kg) : 1er tour

Our French couldn’t get rid of Didar Khamza (KAZ) and was eliminated in the first round.

Maxime-Gaël Ngayap Hambou (-90kg): 2nd round

After winning his first fight by waza-ari in the golden score, our French lost in the 2nd round against the Japanese Mashu Baker.
