Three silver medals for the Eagles of the UAS in the National JUDO | Sports | News | DVT

Three silver medals were won by the Águilas UAS team in the national open student judo championship held in Querétaro the previous weekend.

It was a blank event where the teams gathered, practically from all the universities that are powerhouses in national judo.

“We got three silver medals for the team in this good training event where the best of national judo was concentrated, except for the UANLy UdeG team, who did not attend.

All this with a view to the official university events of this cycle”. Declared, Elias Gomez Ureta.

The Águilas UAS team was made up of nine members, 3 women and 6 men with Froylán Verdugo, head of the branch, coach Elías Gómez Ureta and Mervin Leyva as judge.

The medalists were: Gabriela Aurora Quintero Martínez, from the Faculty of Psychology, silver medalist in the 78 kilos division. Gabriel Elías Torres Martínez, silver medal in the 66-kilo division, Mazatlán School of Economics and Luis Roberto Romero Rivera, from the economics school, silver medal in the division up to 73 kilos.
