According to what local media reported, the fight would have taken place after the workers denounced a group of people for alcohol consumption at the scene, which led to the intervention of police officers.

However, after being released from the police unit, the bathers returned to the beach to face the lifeguardswhich ended with physical assaults of fist and footin view of families and children.

For its part, the municipality published a statement on its Facebook account where They repudiated the brutal aggression and also confirmed that they will file a complaint against those who are responsible.

“Our lifeguards and security teams worked from the first minute to protect the beach and to be able to control these individuals who generated excesses,” says the publication.

Finally, they made a call not to consume alcohol on the beach. “LWe call on all who visit our beaches not to consume alcohol, to ensure self-care and, above all, to respect each other to maintain the calm and family atmosphere that characterizes us so much”, they sentenced.
