Rudy Gobert, the player, is often misunderstood by most basketball enthusiasts who focus more on his shortcomings than his (many) qualities. But the fans of the teams whose colors he defends in the NBA know how important he can be on the field. Rudy Gobert, the man, is sometimes mocked for his moods or some of his declarations. But fans of his franchises or even members of the organizations he played for know how generous and involved he is.
New example at the approach of Christmas with the very nice gesture made by the pivot of the Minnesota Timberwolves towards the employees of the Target Center. He gave them all an autographed card plus $50.
More than 450 Target Center employess — ushers, concession workers, change-over, etc. — showed up to a nice little gift tonight. A signed card and $50 from Rudy Gobert, thanking them for all they do for the Wolves.

Maybe we should finally let those who know Rudy Gobert best judge him. Pace that in the end, he is appreciated everywhere he goes and it is not trivial.
