The Professional Baseball League of the Dominican Republic (LIDOM) announced that it maintains its fixed schedules for the date of Monday, after the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader announced that next January 2 will be a non-working day.

In a tweet published around 7:30 p.m., LIDOM reported that it is making public the fact that the schedules established for the matches next Monday, January 2, “are maintained at the originally assigned hours.”

For that day, the matches Estrellas Orientales against the Gigantes del Cibao are scheduled at 7:00 pm at the Julián Javier Stadium and 15 minutes later, Águilas against the Tigres del Licey at 7:15 pm Some three hours before the announcement of LIDOM the first president of the nation made public the information of the non-working date for the country.
