The Lakers involved in an XXL trade with two heavyweights?!

Ultra-active on the market for weeks, the Lakers are still waiting to be able to materialize this with a major transfer. This one could well take place in the days to come, and would even involve two other heavyweights in the league!

The famous deadline set by the front office is finally here, which is unlikely to temper the impatience of the fans. The Lakers were waiting for December 15 to really take action on the market, and hoped to restart their season before this fateful date. It is clear that their players have not been able to achieve the famous balance sheet, they who currently have 11 wins for 16 defeats.

Faced with this observation, it is therefore a safe bet that Rob Pelinka is preparing to increase the number of phone calls in the hours to come, in search of the best trade to make. The GM angelino has already activated many tracks beforehand, including the one leading to a surprising old part of the house. He could nevertheless give in to the temptation to do business with big competitors for the title according to the latest rumors.

Huge Bucks-Suns-Lakers trade in the oven?

In search of good moves to make in the face of their delicate start to the season, the Lakers are obviously not the only ones in this case. They therefore remain likely to complete a deal with more than one team. In the columns of Bleacher Reportinsider Eric Pincus reports in particular the possibility that such an exchange will take place soon for the franchise, linked to the situation… of Jae Crowder at the Suns:

Phoenix was close to sending Crowder to the Bucks in a three-team deal with the Rockets. The discussions even included the Warriors for a time, but ultimately did not come to fruition. Other teams may be interested in intervening in the trade, including the Heat, Hawks and Lakers.

Should the Purple & Gold indeed come to an agreement with Phoenix and Milwaukee, the transfer would undoubtedly shake up the league.

But then, what could this consist of? For this, we must look at the proposal that almost hit the mark, and in which the Rockets played a role. Crowder would thus have landed at the Bucks, several 2nd-round picks as well as Milwaukee players would have landed in Houston, while Eric Gordon and/or Kenyon Martin Jr. would have ended up at the Suns. An agreement could therefore be reached with LA on the following terms:

Will the Lakers manage to slip into the long-awaited trade between Suns and Bucks around Jae Crowder? The probability exists, even if the arrival of Pat Beverley among his great enemies of Phoenix would really be surprising!
