The Gernika bows to the Beasain

The goals from Ibai Sanz and Salado trace back the match against the Gipuzkoan team

Gernika solved one of those games that tend to get stuck. Four minutes after the match in the Urbieta field, the ex-Sasunista Aitor Lorea was ahead, but Aitor Larrazabal’s team, with the arrow pointing up, traced the stake through Ibai Sanz, a striker on loan from Bilbao Athletic, who tied with half an hour, and Toni Salado, re-fished from Compostela, put the forales ahead just before the break (2-1). A key moment in the second act to manage the result, enjoying three clear chances, although without Urbieta’s light moving.

Three gold points that corroborate that the team has not been misled by the proximity of the Cup match against Celta on December 22 in Gernika. Six points in a row that give you air to work more calmly. Larrazabal’s team, which manages a fairly young squad for the category, measured their forces against Igor Gordobil, a direct rival, who fell apart in the second half.

After Ibai Sanz equalized, taking advantage of a measured cross from Gallastegi, Gernika was fortunate that the referee Sánchez Alba canceled out a goal against Beasain for offside. Just before the break, a cross from the left by Carlos González was nailed down by the talented Salado coming from the second row. It turned out the lace to dispatch the stake. In the second act, Gernika put up more speed to take over the game and handcuff their rival. Gallastegi almost scored the third, but Artetxe aborted it. Ibai Sanz was able to score his second goal, but he ran into again an inspired Artexe under the sticks that prevented a greater income from the forales.
