His scientific objects, books and manuscripts are kept at the media library and at the Museum of Fine Arts and Natural History in Châteaudun, which perpetuate the memory of this astonishing doctor from Dunois (1814-1894), famous for his ephemeral discovery of the planet Vulcan. in 1859.
