This Tuesday, the second day of the campus was held by Nicolas De los Santos and Gustavo Sapochnik, with activities from 9:00 in the morning until the early hours of the night, in the Huracán de Trelew gym.
The last activity started at 8:30 p.m., with a talk given by the sports psychologist Juan Cruz Yapura, which referred to the topic “the role of parents in the sports development of their children.”
The number of boys present gives color to a new edition of the DLS Basketball Camps on day 2, with the training of great coaches such as the case of Martín Villagrán.
The gymnastics coach of Comodoro Rivadavia and the U-15 division of the Argentine national team shared feelings with Diario EL CHUBUT:
“The truth is that the activity that takes place in this type of event is very beautiful. I have the possibility of being present, as I also did in Comodoro Rivadavia in the Sports Federation. At this time to be able to gather a total of 120 boys, with a activity as beautiful as basketball is, it is very satisfying”.
Villagrán also referred to how they work on boys of different ages, and how they try to polish some things in the players.
“One tries to be in detail as a coach with most of the content there is, obviously three days is very little, but it not only involves teaching the game itself, but also the values of this sport such as camaraderie, which be supportive, as well as the friendships that we see many made in these events”.
At the end, Martín referred to how basketball is in Chubut, and how it is developing.
“I think the difference lies in the amount of competition, obviously the province of Buenos Aires and the Capital have an impressive number of clubs, and they play a lot more matches, here in the province I think we are eleven clubs in total, and the distances are very long, compared to them who are competing all day with each other. It also depends on how each institution works so that the structure grows, and that the Federation of the province supports to continue growing”.
