The Binéfar City Council awards 25 scholarships for binéfar athletes…

Twenty-five young athletes with a sports projection in 2022 have received scholarships from the Binéfar City Council, for a total value of 5,999.99 euros, whose amounts vary depending on the points of each of the applicants. They received their certificates this Thursday afternoon, in a protocol ceremony, held in the assembly hall of the town hall with the presence of the mayor, Alfonso Adán, and the Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos García.

The scholarship recipients this year for their special sports projection during 2022 have been Fernando Adán (kickboxing), Ángel Alcoba (kickboxing), Manuel Alonso (judo), Paula Ambau (athletics), Sofía Blanco (kickboxing), Víctor Boix (athletics), Alba Cajal (judo), Mama Colibaly (judo), Belén Foj (badminton), Sergio García (judo), Richard Mack (judo), Boukary Magassa (athletics), Eduardo Marco (badminton), Carmen Nadal (athletics), Yesenia Padilla (judo), Alejandra Pérez (judo), Sandro Pla (judo ), Javier Prieto (athletics), Eloy Rodríguez (judo), Alba Sánchez (judo), Manuel Satué (athletics), Luis Serra (kickboxing), Fernando Sorinas (kickboxing), Hugo Terés (judo) and Román Vicente (judo).

Alfonso Adán congratulated the athletes for their projection and encouraged them to continue with the same enthusiasm as up to now, while thanking them for bear the name of Binéfar wherever they compete. Likewise, the Councilor for Sports encouraged them to continue growing as athletes and told them that these scholarships “recognize the work you do and want to help you continue to improve your great competitive level.”
