Issoire. Until January 5, the city of Saint Austremoine will come alive for unforgettable parties! The official launch of the illuminations is scheduled for this Friday, December 2, with the program: at 5 p.m., Guignol show on the Raoul-Ollier forecourt; from 6 p.m., wandering with Santa’s sleigh followed by the Narvolo Company show, the lighting of the tree and the fireworks, on the Place de la République
The rides have also been installed in the heart of the city. Mini quads, scooters, merry-go-round, trampolines, ice rink, rifle shooting, duck fishing and other entertainments await the children, on the places of the Republic, General-de-Gaulle, the Halle aux grains and on the Parvis Raoul – Ollier!

ArtenScène offers a dance and visual arts show, directed by the Cie Aurélia Chauveau, this Friday, at 7 p.m., at the Salle La Bascule. “Nuit ou l’espace de la poétique” is a visual installation that combines digital arts and dance. On the theme of dreams and mirage, this piece is an abstract and ethereal immersion in this universe which plunges the public into the dreamlike play of shadow and chiaroscuro connecting in real time, light, image, space and danced movement. Located between physical theater and performance, this show is a suspended moment where the spectator has only to let himself be carried away on a journey between reality and dream…

Brassac-les-Mines. Busy program at the Lampisterie, this Saturday, December 3, with Arts and Crafts Day. From 2 p.m., “Les Brindilleuses” basketry exhibition, a group of amateurs working on collective projects. Combine the artistic and the technical in order to go beyond this traditional art and bring it to light… At 2.30 p.m., discovery workshops on animated films or basketry. From 5:30 p.m., screening of “Abracadabrin”, the story of a little man to whom a bird’s nest gives ideas… A short film produced by the Collectif des Brindilleuses and the collaboration of Cie Silence Saturn. Saturday 2 and Sunday 4 December
Brassac-les-Mines. The magic of Christmas takes hold of the Mining Basin! Skating rink, Christmas stories, balloon release, parade, tree lighting and shows, treasure hunts… Here is the program so you don’t miss a thing: Saturday, from 11 a.m.: Letter to Santa Claus and storytelling workshop, in the old bar the Phoenix; 4:30 p.m.: balloon release at the Place Le Royal ice rink; 5 p.m.: children’s parade with the mascots and the Pluspitres association, lighting of the Christmas tree and children’s show at Place Peynet; 6 p.m., flames, embers, pyrotechnics, light show still on Place Peynet. On Sunday, from 2 p.m., treasure hunt game with prankster elves!
Note that the skating rink will be open until Sunday, December 18.
Elbows. Throughout the weekend, the Coud’Flash photo club organizes its exhibition, at the Maison des associations, quai d’allier. Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, December, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors will be able to admire more than a hundred photos as well as the portraits of the elders of the commune. On Sunday, Father Christmas will be present for a photo shoot, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; the proceeds from the sale of photos taken during the session will be donated in full to the Acte Auvergne association, which aims to improve the hospitalization conditions for children with cancer or leukemia treated at the CHU d’Estaing.

Bansat. The company of local actors, the Tribaladins, will perform the play “J’y Croix pas” by Noël Piercy, Sunday, December 4, at 2:30 p.m., in the Salle des Associations. Entrance to the hat.
Solidarity events for the Telethon
Issoire. This weekend, the Téléthon Issoirien will take on the appearance of a large peloton, a nod to the arrival of the 10th stage of the Grande Boucle, scheduled for July 11 in Issoire. In the program :
Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Halle aux grains: refreshment bar for the benefit of the Téléthon; exhibition and sale of drawings made by children from daycare centers in Issoire; targets available from the USI archery; large canvas of the association Pour l’Ukraine; bicycles (loaned by Goform) to complete the 167 km stage of the Tour de France Vulcania-Issoire; targets run by USI Rugby. From 2:30 p.m., on the Place de la République: departure of the Peloton du Téléthon towards the Mas lake; at the Lavédrine complex, snack offered by the municipality, BMX demonstration and trials, inflatable rugby poles made available by the USI rugby.
Sunday, at 9 a.m., at the Mas complex: the USI tennis offers the possibility of expressing oneself on mountain bike circuits (1 h 30), walking (1 h 30) or jogging (45 minutes to 1 hour) whose profits (5 € per person or more) will be donated to the Telethon.
A large peloton expected in the streets of Issoire (Puy-de-Dôme) for the Telethon
Tauve. The Telethon evening will take place on Saturday, December 3, from 7:30 p.m., at the La Bascule room. On the program: raffle, participatory belote and refreshment bar with local products.
Bagnols. Bagnols Anim’s is organizing a sale of pumps, for the benefit of the Telethon, Saturday, December 3, from 8 am, in the village hall. Attention foodies!
Orbeil. The various associations of the village organize their Telethon, Saturday, December 3, from 8 am, in the village hall of Chauffour. On the programme: tripe or Burgundy meals to take away (€8) or eat in (€12) and children’s meals (€5); sale of cakes by the Bricoles et fariboles association and the Happy Days Club; from 10 a.m., children’s games hosted by the orbeil parents’ association; 10.30 a.m., demonstration of défoul’kid; 11:30 a.m., performance by the folklore group Les Sabots d’Orbeil bourrée Yssoirienne. A donation urn will be available to visitors.
Saulzet-le-Froid. The Festival Committee is organizing the Telethon, Saturday December 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the village hall. A tripe or chipolata meal will be offered for €18 per person. All profits will be donated to the AFM Telethon.
Saint-Bonnet-pres-Orcival. On Saturday December 3, the associations of the village of Voissieux, with its inhabitants, are organizing an event to raise as many funds as possible for the Telethon. On the program, demonstration of car barrels, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., a sporting discipline that is practiced in rare places in France. Thus, a village enthusiast has taken all his friends on board to prepare about fifteen cars especially for the occasion and they come from all over France. The goal is to do as many rolls as possible in a given time. Throughout the day, an animation will be offered to the public present with a raffle and challenges raised by the pilots. The governing association also offers a hot meal cooked in the village oven (reservation at 06.59.66.60.95). Admission is free, all for the benefit of the Telethon.
