Study places Pablo Maia as the best young midfielder in the world; check – 180 degrees

Future of Amarelinha or surprise on the list? The midfielder Pablo Maia, from São Paulo, aged 20, in a study by the CIES Football Observatory (International Center for Sports Studies), was elected the best first midfielder in the world among those born from 2002 onwards.

The Brazilian was ahead of Eduardo Camavinga, Champions League champion with Real Madrid, World Cup runner-up with France and considered one of the most promising players in the world. Like the jewel from São Paulo, the Frenchman is also 20 years old.

Camavinga is valued at 82.9 million euros, while the market value of Pablo Maia is estimated at 10.3 million euros.
