Xujiahui Sports Park covers an area of nearly 360,000 square meters, with a construction area of 250,000 square meters. The area includes Shanghai Stadium, Shanghai Gymnasium, Shanghai Swimming Pool, and the Xujiahui Sports Park Complex “Wantihui”, which was first put into trial operation. It is understood that the Xujiahui Sports Park gymnasium, swimming pool, comprehensive hall and the physical building of the outdoor area of the stadium have been basically completed. The aerobic park and some greening scenes have begun to take shape. Some areas of the Shanghai Stadium and the subway area of Line 23 are now advancing as planned building construction. Among them, the construction of the main structure of Shanghai Stadium, Shanghai Gymnasium and Shanghai Swimming Pool has been completed, and will gradually open to the public for trial operation in the near future. During New Year’s Day, the badminton, table tennis, tennis, football, and basketball venues of the “Wantihui” complex in Xujiahui Sports Park will be open as usual, and some new outdoor spaces will also be open to provide more walking and resting venues. Sports enthusiasts can make reservations through the Shanghai Sports “Laihudong” and “Jushi Sports” mini-programs.

At present, the construction of the Shanghai Swimming Pool is basically completed. The renovated swimming pool has a construction area of 15,800 square meters. After completion, there are 4 floors and 4 swimming pools: the first to second floors retain the original standard swimming pool, training pool and diving pool, and add a third floor. The pool; the third and fourth floors are equipped with sunny courtyards and supporting rooms. In the near future, the venue operator will conduct joint debugging and intelligent upgrade of the facilities and equipment of the swimming pool, so that the general public can get better services and better experience in the near future.
The Shanghai Gymnasium has a construction area of 40,552 square meters. The building facade retains the original style. Through reconstruction and expansion to improve functions, a movable stand is set up, which can accommodate nearly 13,000 seats (including more than 2,000 event seats). It is capable of hosting top domestic and foreign events. and activity conditions. Next year, the Shanghai Juss Men’s Basketball Team’s home games for the new season will be held in the Shanghai Gymnasium.
