The commentary by Alessio Olivi from Montegranaro. “Spectacular track, built inside and around the municipal stadium “La Croce”; truly worthy of a world cup! With various gradients, ups and downs in many sections, challenging counter-slopes and often to be done on foot; very technical and very slippery (muddy) All due to the rain that had fallen the day before (Saturday 10 December 2022); the (sunny) climate of the day of the race was more than good, which gave the large audience the opportunity to see/appreciate such a sporting/competitive show up close of cycle – cross; congratulations to all the organizing committee for the excellent logistics – direction (Cycling Project – MGN)”.
The next appointment, i.e. the ninth (out of eleven in total), for our Marche – Romagna challenge (Adriatic Cross Tour – 2022/2023), is scheduled for next Sunday – 18 December 2022 – in Pesaro (PU) with the dispute of the cyclo-cross homonymous trophy!
Jesolo (Venice) – Last stage – Sunday 11 December 2022 – of the Venetian “international triptych CX” (after Vittorio Veneto, Faè di Oderzo and precisely Jesolo), the one staged this weekend, “kissed” by water/mud , in addition to a very bitter cold and above all by an icy wind that put all those involved in the competition in difficulty (from the athletes to the organizers themselves). For our team – Cingolani Specialized – the following athletes competed and, below, their relative results: Rebecca Gariboldi (5ª), Marco Pavan (11°) e Jessica Pellizzaro (27ª).
Next Sunday, December 18, 2022, the team Cingolani Specialized will be engaged – in that of Gallipoli (Lecce) for the final act of Giro d’Italia cyclocross 2022, where our fearless athletes will have to defend their leadership, i.e. their primacy in the standings: Filippo Cingolani (ES2M) – pink – green jersey; Marco Pavan (Open/Elite – M) – pink jersey; Rebecca Gariboldi (Open/Elite – F) – pink jersey and Ania Bocchini (MW) – pink jersey – green; and, of course, also the “special” one for the team where our lead the general with pts 838; Fingers crossed and hope for the best!
