Soccer – VfL Wolfsburg without Lena Oberdorf – Sport

The footballers of VfL Wolfsburg have to do without Lena Oberdorf in the last group game in the Champions League. The international will miss the game at SKN St. Pölten on Thursday because of cold symptoms, said assistant coach Kim Kulig. According to Kulig, the presence of trainer Tommy Stroot is also in question. If the 33-year-old fails, “we will absorb it together as a team,” said Kulig. There are plans “who will take over which tasks from Tommy”. For Wolfsburg it is still about winning the group. With eleven points, VfL are one point ahead of AS Roma in Group B before the last game. The Italians meet Slavia Prague in the parallel game. Winning the group is “absolutely our goal,” said national player Lena Lattwein.
