Shilov was called up to the NHL team “Canucks”

Shilov, who has not yet made his NHL debut, was called up by extraordinary circumstances.

This season, the Latvian goalkeeper has allowed an average of 2.92 pucks in 17 games for the Abbotsford Canucks of the American Hockey League (AHL), saving 88.7% of shots.

Along with Shilov’s call-up to the NHL, another goaltender Colin Delia was sent to the AHL team, who played one game in the NHL for the Vancouver team this season. His family just had an increase, which also serves as the reason for the changes in the “Canucks” goaltending line.

With 29 points won in 30 games, the “Canucks” are in 11th place in the Western Conference and will play their next match on Monday (Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m. Latvian time), hosting the St. Louis “Blues” at home.
