Season tickets to enjoy the 2023 Queen’s Basketball Cup, which will be held at the Príncipe Felipe de Zaragoza Pavilion from March 30 to April 2with the collaboration of Zaragoza Deporte, can now be purchased.
The Spanish Basketball Federation has put on sale on its website the tickets that will allow you to attend the seven matches for a price of 25, 35 or 45 eurosdepending on the location.
The eight participating teams will meet on December 30 with the end of the first round of the Endesa Women’s League. Among them, Casademont Zaragoza has a guaranteed place as host.
The agreement to organize the Copa de la Reina is part of the commitment of the Zaragoza City Council for the attraction of sports and cultural events of national and international projection. Zaragoza thus takes over from Valencia, which has hosted the last two editions, with SPAR Girona (2021) and Perfumerías Avenida (2022) as champions.
It will be the fourth time that the Queen’s Cup travels to Zaragoza. The first was in the 2002-2003 academic year, coinciding with the victory of Ros Casares.
The competition system of the tournament will be identical to last year. The quarterfinal pairings will be decided in a draw with positions 1-4 serving as seeding. After this first round, the semifinals and the subsequent final will take place.
Parallel to this Queen’s Cup, the LF Endesa Mini-Cup and all the youth category teams of the clubs that make up the LF Endesa 22/23 will be able to participate. Precisely, the inauguration of this children’s Cup took place in Zaragoza, so that the tournament returns to its origins six years later.
