42nd SPORTS FESTIVAL
Santiago Baztarrica was consecrated “Sportsman of the year 2022”
Wednesday night took place The 42nd edition of the Sports Festival took place on Wednesday night as always under the organization of local journalist Raúl Mascheroni and sponsored by the Municipality of Nueve de Julio.
It took place in front of the Municipal Palace of 9 de Julio, and was attended by the municipal Chief of Staff, María José Gentile and the Secretary of Government, Víctor Altare, among other members of the Cabinet. The president of the Deliberative Council, Horacio Baglietto, was also there.
After the opening of the event and the aerobic dance presentations, the municipal authorities awarded the awards to the athletes who stood out in the 2022 edition of the Buenos Aires Games.
They also gave special mentions to local athletes who stood out internationally such as:

Karting – Santiago Baztarrica
Swimming -Theo Gonzalo
Golf- Miguel Sancholuz Fútbol- Nacho Fernández, Lucas Vesco, José Paradela, Federico Paradela and Alexander Díaz

Athletics – Sandra Marcantoni
Boxing – Panterita Rodriguez
Finally, the Sports Festival consecrated the 2022 Karting driver Santiago Baztarrica, (15 years old), who in this calendar won five national titles and represented our country in the Karting World Cup held in Portugal.
