Santa Cruz is runner-up in women’s soccer and men’s basketball

During the morning, the men’s basketball team from Santa Cruz faced La Pampa in a tight match again, with the Pampas winning 72-59. Thus, the Santa Cruz team became runners-up. Regarding women’s basketball, the girls finished the competition in fourth place.

The women’s volleyball team from Santa Cruz finished their participation in fourth position after the game with Chubut this Friday morning, with a result of 3 to 1. The men’s volleyball team from Santa Cruz finished in fifth position, closing their participation with the last game against Tierra del Fuego. It should be noted that during the award ceremony, a tribute was paid to Federico Santos, vice president of the Santacrucea de Vley Federation; giving the family shirt number 9, which was withdrawn from the list of jerseys of the provincial team.

The men’s team finished their participation in fourth place after facing Neuqun, with a score in favor of the Neuquén team from 3 to 2.

Finally, the Jew from Santa Cruz had his last participation in the team competition, leaving the provincial female selective in fifth place; for its part, the men’s team finished their participation in fourth position. Likewise, within this framework, the Ippon Trophy was awarded, a recognition of the best technical work of the judokas, in homage to the man who was the Mtro.
