Regatas Corrientes obtained an important victory last night within the framework of the tour it is carrying out through the center and south of the country. For a new date in the National Basketball League (LNB) they defeated San Lorenzo 89-79 at home. The scorer of the match was Rodney Green, author of 19 annotations (six rebounds, three assists). Charles Hinkle, another of the foreigners of the Corrientes club, scored 18 points.
Although Regatas had an adverse start, the outlook was not discouraging since it never suffered major disadvantages. In the second half, a good run by Potrillo Arengo and better defensive blocking gave him the victory.
San Lorenzo had had a very fine start with its five starters. Julián Aprea worked as a very good ally for Facundo Rutenberg to stand out with 13 points in the first half.
