“Red Bull” team leader Horner does not expect Vettel to return to F-1

Vettel and Horner worked together at Red Bull, where the pilot won all four of his F-1 championship titles between 2010 and 2013.

“Give him a year. Maybe he’ll get bored and go back to his passion. But knowing him, I get the impression that he’s a very determined man. And when he sets his mind to something, it happens,” says Horner.

He believes that the timing of Vettel’s retirement from the sport was right.

“I think it was the right thing for him. He’s always been very mature for his age. But you can see he’s still riding at a very high level and whatever he does, he’s going to do very well,” Horner said.
