The New York “Rangers” team celebrated their seventh consecutive victory in the regular championship games of the National Hockey League (NHL) on Sunday. The “Rangers” prevailed over the Chicago “Blackhawks” with a score of 7:1 (3:0, 2:1, 2:0).

The most productive for the New Yorkers was Artemis Panarins, who scored one goal and assisted two more accurate shots. Vincent Trochek, Filip Hitil and Capo Caco finished the match with a goal and an assist, while Vitaly Kravtsov, Brayden Schneider and Jacob Trouba each beat the opponents. Adam Fox had three assists, and Alex Lafreniere and Mick Zibanejad had two each.

Filip Kurashev scored the only goal for the Blackhawks team. The goalkeeper of the winners, Igor Šestjorkin, neutralized 29 pucks in this match, but the opponents had ten fewer saves than Arvids Sederblum. “Rangers” have not felt the bitterness of a loss since December 3, when they lost 2:5 at home to the “Blackhawks” team. Since then, the performances of the two teams have been diametrically opposite – the Rangers have won seven matches in a row, while the Blackhawks are on a seven-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, the fifth victory in a row was won by the Minnesota “Wild”, who beat the Ottawa “Senators” at home on Sunday with the result 4:2 (1:0, 2:0, 1:2). Kirill Kaprizov was the most productive for the winners, who participated in the three goals scored with one accurate shot and two assists. This season, teams will play 82 games each in the NHL regular season, and all teams have violated the third part of the tournament.
