No surprise from the Proinbeni Units pel Bàsquet Gandia yesterday at AD Infante’s court in Murcia. Alejandro Mesa’s players were clearly superior to the locals, they felt safe on the pitch and returned with another win in the last game of the year. The Proinbeni will debut in 2023 consolidated in the leadership of its group.
The tenth victory in this phase of the EBA league was forged from the first second. Suffice it to say that the initial arreón placed a score of 0-8 that upset the Murcian team. The pace was very fast and the attacks effective.
After the first quarter, which ended with 16-25, came a certain give and take in which AD Infante came to be only five points behind the Gandians. The situation was fixed later and the second quarter ended with a ten lead (38-48).
In the second part the tonic changed little. The people of Gandía knew how to control the stake and keep the mark at a sufficient distance so as not to suffer, but in the last moments, when the Murcians already appreciated that it was impossible to win this game, Proinbeni flew, with a show on the field, and placed differences up to 25 points. The stake ended with a significant (62-89).
