The San Antonio Spurs lost to the New Orleans Pelicans in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
The Texans with Jakob Pöltl lose 117:126. The center from Vienna recorded 13 points, four rebounds and one assist and one steal. Pöltl was in action for a total of 21:42 minutes during the defeat.
The Spurs scored the first basket to make it 2-0 through Tre Jones, but were then no longer ahead throughout the game. Rather, a preliminary decision is already made in the first quarter, which goes to the hosts 37:17.
The outstanding player on the floor is CJ McCollum, who recorded 40 points, nine assists and eight rebounds for New Orleans.
The Texans’ most successful scorer is rookie Jeremy Sochan with 23 points. Already on Friday, San Antonio will take on the Orlando Magic.
