Television announcer Piers Morgan lashed out Lionel Messi which seemed deliberately let Emiliano Martinez make fun of Kylian Mbappe in the Argentinian world champion march.
Argentina won the 2022 World Cup after beating France 4-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw until extra time in the final match at the Lusail Stadium, Qatar, Sunday (18/12).
In celebration of the victory in the dressing room, Martinez actually mocked Mbappe by calling for a ‘one minute silence’ before continuing the party.
Now, Martinez is again making fun of Mbappe at the Argentina champion’s march in Buenos Aires. The Aston Villa goalkeeper deliberately carried a baby doll with a photo of Mbappe attached.
Argentina captain Lionel Messi, who was next to Martinez, could only smile at Martinez’ ridiculous act of mocking his team-mate at PSG.
Piers Morgan also questioned Messi’s reasons for allowing Martinez to embarrass Mbappe in the La Albiceleste championship parade.
“Why did Messi allow Martinez to taunt and humiliate Mbappe like this? They are teammates at PSG, very strange and not beautiful,” Morgan wrote on Twitter.
Piers Morgan has recently become known as a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo after the two of them were involved in an exclusive interview full of controversial statements.
Morgan also actually often mocks Messi on social media. The British journalist once wrote negative comments on FIFA’s official Twitter account highlighting Messi.
