Pierre Pineau 6th at the Australian Open, David Micheluzzi and Adam Scott in the lead

Pierre Pineau continues on its momentum. After a good first round, the Vaudreuil player did the same in the second round, positioning himself in the top 10. Author of three birdies and two bogeys on the Kingston Heath course, the student of Guillaume Biaugeaud is 6th at – 4 by returning a card of 71 (-1).

Min Woo Lee is 16th at -2 (KH), World No. 27 Ryan Fox 22nd at -1 (KH), Lucas Herbert 32nd in par (VI) and Cameron Smith 59th at +2 (KH). The winner of the British and Fortinet Australian PGA Championship, last week, narrowly passes the cut and offers a chance to return to the top of the leaderboard.

Local David Micheluzzi is still in the lead at -8 (KH), making 5 birdies and 4 bogeys. He is joined by his compatriot Adam Scott, author of a -7 on the Victoria course, with a total of an eagle and 5 birdies.

As for the Australian Women’s Open, world No. 4 Minjee Lee now climbs to 6th position at -5 with a total of 5 birdies and 2 bogeys on the Kingston Heath course. The American Jennifer Kupcho also had a good second round by positioning herself in the top 10, 9th at -3 (KH). Australian Grace Kim, in the lead in the first round, fell to 3rd position after returning a card in par, leaving first place to her compatriot Hannah Green at -11. The local scored an eagle, 5 birdies and a bogey on the Victoria course.
