Paris Basket narrowly wins against Hamburg

This Wednesday, Paris Basket won on its Halle Carpentier floor against the Germans in Hamburg (87-84). But it was hard for the Parisians who almost escaped victory in the last minutes.

The Hamburg players negotiated the start of the match better by taking control of the match from the outset and even wide on the scoreboard (12-22 after the first quarter). Enough to doubt the locals who waited for the third quarter to react in a good way (34-15), in particular thanks to Amar Gegic (18 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists) and Kyle Allman (16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 pass).

Thanks to this great reaction, Paris had a nine-point lead at the start of the last quarter. Finally, even if the Germans made the locals doubt at the end of the match by returning to three points, the hardest part was over. With four wins and two losses, Paris is fifth in Group B and in good shape to qualify for the finals, but be careful, there are still twelve group matches to be played.
