“Ogre” was successful in the “Pafbet” Latvian-Estonian Basketball League (LIBL) game on Friday, winning the fourth victory in the last five matches.

Ogrenians beat “Latvijas Universitati” with the result 63:61 (10:13, 24:13, 17:20, 12:15).
At the moment, when there were three seconds left until the end of the game’s regular time, Uģis Pinete was on the mark against Reini Avotiņas, who at that time made a long shot. As a result, Avotitin had a chance to draw a tie, but he missed two of the three free throws and was unable to recover the rebound, as the match ended in favor of “Ogre”.
Among the winners, Edgars Lasenbergs was the top scorer with 14 points, while Pinete added another 13 points and five assists.
Richards Vitolskis, who scored 14 points, as well as Toms Skuja, Avotiņš and Edvards Mežulis, who each scored 12 points, did not save the home team from failure.
