The Syntainics MBC basketball players didn’t get any bonus points in the fight for staying in the class. The team from Weißenfels lost 74-91 (36-36) to second-placed Telekom Baskets Bonn on Friday at home.

After their sixth defeat in eight games, the Central Germans fell back to third from bottom, while Bonn are tied at the top of the Bundesliga table with FC Bayern Munich. Jeremy Morgan (21 points), Leon Krat (16) and TJ Shorts (13) had the greatest share in the success of the guests. Only Kostja Mushidi (16) and Martin Breunig (14) scored double digits for the hosts.
