NFL: Ravens come out expensive victory | News

The game that was predicted to be the most uneven of the NFL noon day was the Broncos against Ravens. Baltimore was a 9.5-point favorite, but that was all changed by Lamar Jackson’s injury.
The quarterback was sidelined with a knee injury, getting sacked by Jonathon Cooper on the penultimate play of the first quarter, but the Ravens still rallied to win 10-9.
Jackson did not return to the game, and the game broadcast showed footage of him having a lot of trouble walking in the locker room.
Tyler Huntley took control of the offense since the injury to Lamar, who is in the final year of his contract with the Ravens, after failing to agree on an offseason renewal for the 2019 MVP, and led a scoring drive in the waning seconds, which he capped off with a touchdown run for his eighth win of the year.
The Ravens are 7-4, tied for the AFC North lead. A situation similar to 2021, when they were 8-4 the day Jackson was injured in week 14 and did not return. Baltimore lost its last five games to finish 8-9, missing the playoffs despite Huntley losing only one game by more than three points.
