New youth coach for the start of the season in Løgstør Badminton Club

Soon it will again be possible to get moving on the badminton courts in Lanternen. Løgstør Badminton Club has just opened registration for the coming season.

Youth training starts on Wednesday 1 September at 16.30 – 17.30. Here, all youth players are welcome, regardless of level. This season it will be with a new face as youth coach in the form of 19-year-old Thorbjørn Rohde. Thorbjørn has played badminton all his life and has most recently been active at a high level in Aars Badminton Club, so he is ready to teach both beginners and advanced players. If you have been inspired by Viktor Axelsen’s Olympic gold and would like to take up badminton, you just have to turn up on 1 September, where it is also possible to borrow a racket.

Exerciseist badminton starts on Monday 30 August. Here it is possible to rent a court on Monday or Wednesday in Lanternen and enjoy yourself with family, friends or colleagues.

Thursday 2 September starts 60+ badminton, which is the club’s offer for pensioners who would like to have some fun hours combined with good exercise. 60+ badminton takes place every Thursday in Lanternen from 9.30 – 11.30. There will be a joint warm-up and then a number of matches will be played. When the matches are finished, we finish with coffee and rolls in the Spar Nord Café, where the day’s matches and everything big and small are discussed. Again this year, Palle Jensen will be at the forefront of 60+ badminton.
