New belts under the Christmas tree • Stories from Attendorn

At the end of the year, a belt test was on the agenda for some of the children and young people in TV Attendorn’s judo department, because many children only found their way onto the mat and started judo during the course of the year. Now before Christmas they could show what they had learned so far. Starting with the fall school, her first belt test started. The throws and holds with subsequent release were also part of the test.

All of the young judokas were able to demonstrate this flawlessly and convince the examiner Jörg Götzen. This means that from now on Elias Kerat, Phil Baier, Ella Vogt, Mattis Eggert im Kampe, Markus Arns, Jolina Stadt, Liah Fligg, Jana Richter, Toni Foidl, Noah Fligg, Jakob Zingsheim, Niklas Arens, Klara Arns, Emilia Heuel, Adrian Heuel, Lilly Steinhanses, Felix Maier and Leon Kerat wear the white and yellow belt.

Then Leonie Maier, Helena Fischer and Noah Miguel Buhs came on the mat. The three were examined under the new grading system.

Hard training quickly paid off. The young judokas were able to meet the requirements. They were able to demonstrate all throws and holds as required. For the second time that day, the examiner was able to announce that the exam objectives had been achieved and the exam was passed. So the three of them can now tie the yellow belt around their judogi.
