Neuquén traveled to Río Gallegos: venue of the Patagonian Tournament

This Sunday in Río Gallegos and other cities in the province of Santa Cruz, the 16th EPaDe Games will begin competition involving athletes from categories 13 to 17 years old from Patagonia in seven sports: athletics, judo, swimming, cycling, basketball, soccer and volleyball.

The Neuquén delegation made up of 164 athletes left this Friday afternoon in four buses. The competition will begin on Monday and on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at the facilities of the Atlético Boxing Club in Río Gallegos, the opening ceremony will take place.

The capital of Santa Cruz, Río Gallegos will host athletics, swimming, judo, basketball and volleyball; while in Río Turbio cycling will compete in the mountain bike modality; Puerto Santa Cruz will host women’s soccer and Comandante Luis Piedrabuena will host men’s soccer.

In the last edition that was held in La Pampa last year, Neuquén was fourth in the general classification and was champion in basketball and women’s soccer, disciplines in which it will defend the title.
