NBA, LA Lakers – Boston Celtics: Chaos bankruptcy for Dennis Schröder – US-SPORT NBA BASKETBALL

what a thriller…

In the NBA there was now the super duel between the Boston Celtics and the LA Lakers. And it was a real chaos game.

What was going on? At 118:122, the Celtics were already 20 (!) points ahead. The Lakers with Dennis Schröder never really let themselves be left behind. Even led in the final quarter by 13 points. Just before the end, Boston’s Jayson Tatum saved his team into overtime (110:110).

“Last game of the away trip, we’ve been away for 13 days now – we needed it. Finding a way back on track was good,” Jayson Tatum told US television.

With 44 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists, Tatum was the main contributor to the Celtics’ 22nd win of the season. Boston defended its lead over the Milwaukee Bucks as leaders in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks previously beat the defending champions Golden State Warriors 128-111 and still have two wins fewer than the Celtics.

For the Lakers, superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis were once again the best players. Davis got 37 points, James 33. Russell Westbrook improved at the end and got 20 points. Dennis Schröder was not used in the decisive phase and thus remained with two points, an assist and a rebound.
