Milan and Codogno, the two souls of Franco Hrast

Only in April of this year was the 50th challenge between Milan and Codogno, two clubs that marked the life of Franco Hrast. And if it is true that Pierino Allara is the king of the outfielders with 3 homers in this special classification, it is equally true that he finds himself ahead of the other Milanese Franco Hrast, also a double ex, and the Codognese Ceccolini and Filippo Comelli, all at quota 2. For Franco Hrast also a parenthesis as Piacenza Baseball coach: it was 1996, he sat on the bench from the first to the fourth day before being replaced by Emilio Albertazzi and Sergio Beccarini.

Franco Hrast’s last appearance was on 16 September

Il Last September 16, at Campo Kennedy, a maxi stage organized by Ares Milano of the youth teams had seen protagonists, among others, also David Robb (coach of the junior national team) and Franco Hrast himself. Four days where the boys of the cadet and junior categories were entrusted to the specific “care” of past champions such as Angelo Novali, Lorenzo De Regny, Giulio Sueri, Paolo Re, Maurizio Brusati, and Franco Hrast himself.
