Villacorzo, Chiapas.- After four days of intense sports activities of the “2022 Men’s Category Basketball State Championship”, held at the Rubén Ruiz Zaurth Municipal Auditorium, in which the teams participated; La Concordia A and B, Villaflores, Berriozábal, La Garza and the host Villacorzo, concluded this sports festival with great excitement.
The final for the championship title was played by Villacorzo Vs La Concordia B, where a very even duel and many emotions was experienced, but in the end La Concordia B was champion, Villacorzo in second place and La Concordia A in third place, same who were awarded by the municipal president Robertony Orozco Aguilar, with 40 thousand, 30 thousand and 20 thousand pesos, respectively.
During the development of the grand finale, Mayor Orozco gave recognition to Dámaso Amado Zuarth Corzo and Jaime Zuarth Corzo, for their trajectories and contributions to the basketball tradition of the municipality of Villacorzo.
The great sports party and award ceremony were accompanied by the municipal president, councilors and officials of the municipal cabinet, where the municipe stressed that Villacorzo is the cradle of great basketball players.
Expressing my satisfaction for the harmony and high competitiveness in which this championship took place, where all the teams showed they had a good job on the pitch.
