Many medals at the end of the year: judo children at the last tournament for 2022

At the last children’s tournament for 2022, six judoka from the 1st JJJC Lünen once again demonstrated their skills.
In the U11 age group, Felizitas Kolisko (-22 kg) was unlucky and was defeated prematurely in all three of her fights, which meant 3rd place.
Lina Rüping (-24 kg) won first after the end of the fight time by the decision of the judges, before she was successful with a clean throw. She was also able to decide the last fight prematurely with a throwing technique. She thus secured first place on the podium.
Mats Pommerening, who competed in the -31 kg weight class, was able to win the first fight with a throwing technique and subsequent hold. In the next fight he faced a more experienced opponent who was superior to him in ground fighting. Since he had made more shots in his last fight, this one was also decided for Mats in the end, with which he really deserved the silver medal.

Hannah Debelius (+57 kg) started as the only fighter in the U13 age group. Unfortunately, she had no opponent that day, which made her the first place without a fight. However, there was an opponent from a different weight class for a friendly fight, which she was able to decide for herself with a throwing technique.

In the U15 Shila Naumann (-40 kg) was extremely motivated. After winning her first fight completely unchallenged, she also won the second fight with a clean sickle technique. Her reward was also the gold medal.

Unfortunately, Lars Klinke (-37 kg) also had no opponent, so his weight class was merged with the class up to 46 kg, i.e. two levels above Lars. They competed against each other according to the “best-of-three” principle. In the first encounter, Lars was able to gain the upper hand and implement a throwing technique despite the weight difference. Unfortunately, he was then caught off guard in the ground fight and had to admit defeat. Lars also won the decisive fight after an exciting fight, which secured him the gold medal.
