The PP of Las Torres de Cotillas, in the persons of its councilors Isabel María Zapata and Francisco José Torres, have been supporting, together with the General Director of Sports of the Regional Government, Francisco Javier Sánchez, the good development that the Spanish Championship is having of Badminton Sub 13 that, throughout this weekend, brings together 124 high-level athletes from 54 clubs from all over the country in the “Mireia Belmonte” Municipal Sports Pavilion of the town and being notable in that cast of participants the presence of Murcian players (12 in total, of which 8 are from Torrena).
With the support, among other institutions, of the Autonomous Community, this national badminton meeting promoted by the Spanish and Regional Federations of this sports discipline and the “Las Torres” Badminton Club, one of the 91 scheduled this year in our Murcian land, It is taking place in a municipality of great practice, number of followers and extensive list of successes achieved by the Torreños for more than two decades in competitions of the highest projection of our country and Region.
