The basketball section of La Bressaude is in mourning with the death of its president Jean-Denis Remy which occurred this Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the age of 58.
Licensed in 1974, he played in the different age categories until being part of the senior team.
He became secretary of the section in the 90s before taking over as president in 2014.
He had been loyal to the basketball section for 48 years.
In 2021, he received the gold medalist from the French Basketball Federation.
He had been fighting for two years against the disease which unfortunately won him.
The funeral of Jean-Denis Remy will be celebrated on Monday January 2, 2023 at 2:30 p.m., in the church of La Bresse.
