Khris Middleton would debut with the Bucks on Friday against the Lakers

Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton is nearing his season debut and could play as early as Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported.

Middleton has missed Milwaukee’s first 19 games so far this season while recovering from wrist surgery.

Middleton had been training with the Bucks’ G League branch as part of the rehabilitation plan and everything seems to indicate that his return is just around the corner.

The three-time All Star missed Milwaukee’s seven-game playoff series loss against the Boston Celtics because of a knee injury.

Middleton averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 66 regular-season games last year.

The Bucks have managed to remain impressive despite the absence of Khris Middleton and currently have a record of 14 wins and 5 losses, with which they are in second place in the Eastern Conference, only behind the Boston Celtics.
