Judo: “Soremade” on the past season

On Friday December 16, the ASCA judokas met in general assembly at the EMSA dojo to take stock and thus close the 2021-2022 season. In the presence of the whole office and alongside Mr. Zanchetta representing the town hall, the president Patrick Lacoumettes opened the meeting by noting that after two complicated years, the season was almost normal despite the constraint of the compulsory health pass for those over 12 years old. Subsequently, the sports calendar was able to operate with regular sporting events.

Qualified teachers highlighted

With 220 members, the club is in first place in the Hautes-Pyrénées. With several slots on the tatami, the club ensures the best pedagogy for the teaching of the discipline, always in phase with the principles of judo which are to contribute, with the family and the school, to the education of the children who will be the citizens of tomorrow. The president will highlight the excellent work of the qualified teachers who coordinate the training sessions, namely: Jonathan and Gautier Lascoumettes, Malbek Maltsagov, Eric Mainelli and José Saiz assisted by Jean-Marc Lovato and Serge Grelin. The president will close his moral report by thanking the town hall for maintaining the municipal subsidy despite the Covid year, as well as the mayor Mr. Boubée, Mrs. Méca, assistant to the associations and the city council who have respected the commitments of the past years.

At the top of the scale of Occitania

Judo awakening, classes for young, medium and large children, Taïso, technique classes on Saturday mornings, a whole learning panel on the tatami with in addition various activities such as internal club competitions and entertainment, the Grobon secretary will put the accent on the initiation to judo for the children of the MJC.

On the competition side, young people and seniors have greatly showcased themselves in the events of the department, of Occitania with in particular Jonathan Lascoumettes who placed the club at the top of the ladder with the title of -100 kg and his qualification for the France.

After Jean Luc Martinez has presented balanced finances, Mr. Zanchetta will raise his astonishment and his satisfaction to see all these little judokas crossing the EMSA tatami.
