With 2023 just around the corner, Jalisco wants to continue being a pioneer in the organization of sporting events.

Beginning in February with the 37th edition of the 21K Guadalajara International Half Marathon, one of the most popular in Mexico that also celebrates the founding of the city; and tentatively in the month of April the Urban Games will be held.

From the middle of the year, the activity increases significantly with the celebration of the Pan American Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship from June 4 to 11, an event that will grant places for the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games and the World Championship in Valencia, Spain in the senior category. , while the junior will compete for tickets to the specialty World Cup in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Likewise, Jalisco will be the sub-headquarters of the Conade Nationals along with Nayarit and Aguascalientes, while Tabasco will be the main venue. And for the first time, the Astros Arena will host the CIBACOPA All-Star Game on August 28.

The great work of the organization led by Gustavo Santoscoy and Gustavo Santoscoy GarcĂ­a, will allow a WTA1000 and a Padel tournament with categories and dates to be defined to return to the Latin American tennis capital.

Being also the first city in Latin America to receive the Gay Games from November 3 to 11, followed by the World Weightlifting Championship.

Likewise, the Latin American Games of Police and Firefighters will be held, as well as international events and national championships of archery, swimming, badminton and table tennis, among others; With dates and venues to be confirmed.
