You probably didn’t realize it, but right after Lionel Messi scored a goal in the game between the Netherlands and Argentina, there was a pitch invasion. As usual, the broadcast cameras did not show the intruder. However, it didn’t take long for information to leak on social networks: it was a person sent by Vitaly Storovetsky, a Russian-American with a history of invasions.

Vitaly Storovetsky is considered an “expert” on the occupation of stadiums. His first appearance was in the 2014 World Cup final, where he stormed the Maracana in the 37th minute of the second half and tried to kiss German defender Hawatus. He was detained by security and later banned from visiting stadiums for matches organized by FIFA. The punishment is permanent.

In the United States, Vitali already occupied the field of the NBA Finals in 2016, and the following year, the stadium that hosted the MLB Final, the American baseball league.

As his popularity rose and he controlled access to the stages of major world events, Vitaly Storovetsky began to invade using other people, seeking to promote the Russian-American’s website. Mother and girlfriend have already been “assigned” to commit crimes.

In 2019, at the UEFA Champions League final, the Russian bride invaded the match between Liverpool and Tottenham wearing a black bathing suit and carrying a phrase alluding to Storovetsky’s website. In the same year, her mother, Elena Vulitsky, tried to invade the Cricket World Cup final. However, he was detained by security forces before the match could be stopped.

The Brazilian was already used by Vitali

Among the list of people that Vitaly Storovetsky used to occupy the stadiums was a Brazilian. In 2021, Yuri Andrade invaded the Super Bowl final. He was wearing a pink bathing suit with the words “Vitaly Unsensard” on it. The Russian-American also shared a photo of Yuri walking onto the field on Twitter.
