In Tourouvre, despite the rain, the Advent market was a success

On the initiative of the festival committee, chaired by Valérie Martin, the Advent market was held on Sunday November 27, 2022 on the town hall square in Tourouvre (Orne) with 20 exhibitors as well as four local associations with many gift ideas for the holidays. You could find decorative objects, honey, jams, terrines from local designers, craftsmen and producers.

A yule log competition

Several other activities were planned, such as the yule log competition with eight participants and the first prize awarded to Aurélie Michel, who left with coaching on the pastry techniques of her choice with the “la baguette d’or” bakery in Tourouvre.

The other participants left with lots Matfer and participation in Bastien Petit’s culinary workshops offered each month in Moulins-la-Marche.

For the drawing contest on the theme of Santa Claus in Hawaii, it was won by Mya and Makensye. There was 447 marbles in the marbles contest and Mrs. Peltier won. Storytelling workshops were also offered by amateur storytellers. The judo club offered a make-up workshop, the parents’ association sold pancakes, waffles and confectionery. C Gonflé was present with his merry-go-round and his duck fishing without forgetting the arrival of Father Christmas and carriage rides in the center of Tourouvre.
